Colorado Tolling Enterprise

The Colorado Tolling Enterprise (CTE), created by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) to finance, build, operate and maintain toll highways, is officially in business.  The CTE was made possible by recent legislation that enables CDOT and the state Transportation Commission to issue bonds for new or additional highway capacity toll projects throughout Colorado.  The non-profit CTE will provide a new mechanism for funding much-needed capacity improvements. Members of the Board of Directors of the CTE are the Transportation Commissioners but with different elected officers.

Officers of the Enterprise Board:

Steve Parker, Chairman
Gregory McKnight, Vice-Chairman
Peggy Catlin, Acting Enterprise Director

Stacey Stegman,
Secretary & Public Relations Director

“The Board is very excited to be a part of this new era for Colorado,” said the CTE’s Acting Director Peggy Catlin.  “This will allow us to try new methods of improving transportation throughout the metro area and throughout the state.”

CTE meetings will take place at CDOT Headquarters, 4201 E. Arkansas Avenue, Denver.
