HENRY SOBANET - Represents District 1, serving on the Commission since October 2005. Mr. Sobanet resides in Denver and is the President of Colorado Strategies, LLC. Formerly, he was director of the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting.

JEANNE ERICKSON - Represents District 2, appointed by Governor Bill Ritter on November 29, 2007. Ms. Erickson resides in Evergreen and is the United We Ride Ambassador for the Community Transportation Association of America.

GREGORY B. MCKNIGHT - Represents District 3, serving on the Commission since August 2001. Mr. McKnight resides in Greenwood Village and is a Management and Strategic Planning Consultant.

District 4


HEATHER BARRY - Represents District 4, and was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter on November 29, 2007. Ms. Barry resides in Westminster and is the Community Liaison in the Office of Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper.

District 5


BILL KAUFMAN - Vice Chairman - Represents District 5, recently appointed to the Commission, Mr. Kaufman is an attorney with his private firm. Kaufman served as a state representative from 1992-2000, and during that time served on the Transportation Committee for four years. He also served on the Loveland-Fort Collins Airport Authority Board for six years. Represents Larimer, Morgan, and Weld Counties.

District 6

GEORGE KRAWZOFF - Represents District 6, and was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter on November 29, 2007. Mr. Krawzoff resides in Steamboat Springs and is a consultant for many communities and organizations in northwest Colorado.

District 7

DOUG ADEN - Chairman - Represents District 7, serving on the Commission since September 1997. Mr. Aden resides in Grand Junction and in 2003, he retired as the Bank president of U.S. Bank in Grand Junction.
Represents Chaffee, Delta, Eagle, Garfield, Gunnison, Lake, Mesa, Montrose, Ouray, Pitkin, and Summit Counties.

District 8

STEVE PARKER - Represents District 8, serving on the Commission since August 2001. Mr. Parker resides in Durango and he retired from the banking business and currently consults on medical and banking activities.
Represents Alamosa, Archuleta, Conejos, Costilla, Dolores, Hindsdale, La Plata, Mineral, Montezuma, Rio Grande, Saguache, San Miguel, and San Juan Counties.

LES GRUEN - Represents District 9, and was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter on November 29, 2007. Mr. Gruen is president of Urban Strategies, a Colorado Springs-based real estate development and advisory services company, founded in 1999.

GEORGE H. TEMPEL - Represents District 10, serving on the Commission since August 2001. Mr. Tempel resides in Wiley and owns and operates Tempel Grain Company.
Represents Baca, Bent, Crowley, Custer, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Prowers, and Pueblo Counties.

District 11


KIMBRA L. KILLIN - Represents District 11, serving on the Commission since January 2005. Ms. Killin resides in Holyoke and is an Attorney with Colver & Killin, LLP and participates in management and bookkeeping and marketing activities for her family’s farm.
Represents Cheyenne, Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma Counties.

Secretary to the Commission


Stacey Stegman - The Transportation Commission formally elected Ms. Stegman as Secretary in August 2007. Responsibilities include administration of the Commission’s public business activities and providing tactical advice. Ms. Stegman is also the Director of the Public Relations Office.
