I-70 LANE CLOSURE
ELBERT COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed the right lane of westbound Interstate 70 at the Elbert County Road 191 overpass (four miles east of Deer Trail) due to a hole in the bridge deck.
CDOT crews currently are repairing the hole with concrete. The concrete will need adequate drying time, requiring the lane to remain closed until sometime tomorrow (Friday, June 13). During the closure, the speed limit will be reduced from 75 to 55 mph.
Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
