OVERHEAD SIGN WORK TO CLOSE I-70 THURSDAY NIGHT
DENVER – On Thursday, February 28th, weather permitting, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of westbound I-70 at Monaco Street for overhead sign work. The closure will begin at 11 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. Friday.
During the closure, a detour route will be in place that takes motorists off of westbound I-70 at Monaco Street (exit #277), then west on Stapleton Drive North (north side of the frontage road) and then back to westbound I-70. Delays are possible and alternate routes are advised.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to be patient, plan ahead and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
