EXPANSION JOINT REPAIRS BEGIN ON RAMP FROM
SOUTHBOUND I-25 TO EASTBOUND I-70

DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is now conducting expansion joint repairs on the ramp from southbound I-25 to eastbound I-70. The repairs will take approximately three to four days to complete, weather permitting.

Work can take place seven nights a week with lane closures taking place during the following hours:

Once work is complete on this ramp, crews will move to the structure on northbound I-25 over Clear Creek, which is at milepost 216.579 near the junction of I-76. The work hours will be the same as those listed above.

All work is weather permitting. Delays are expected and alternate routes are advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to be patient, plan ahead and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”

The expansion joint work is part of a $630,000 project, which repairs bridge expansion joints at nine locations across the Denver metro area. To date, repairs have been made at five locations. The entire project will be complete by the end of May 2008.
