WEEKLY LANE CLOSURE REPORT FOR PAVING AND SIGNAL REPLACEMENT PROJECTS
BOULDER COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues a signal upgrade project and a paving project within the City of Boulder. For the week of Saturday, May 17th through Friday, May 23rd the following lane closures will take place.
Signal Upgrade Project:
Southbound Broadway Street at Baseline Road: The right lane of southbound Broadway Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
Northbound and Southbound Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road: The right lane of northbound and southbound Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
Paving Project:
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street between Table Mesa Drive and Eastman Avenue: The left lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed 24 hours a day until 4 p.m. on Monday.
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street from Table Mesa Drive to Ash Avenue: The left lane of northbound Broadway will be closed starting at 12 a.m. on Monday until 12 a.m. on Tuesday.
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street from Eastman Avenue to Ash Avenue: The left lane of northbound Broadway will be closed starting at 12 a.m. on Tuesday until 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The signal project upgrades signals in six locations: Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue, Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue, Broadway Street at Baseline Road, 28th Street at Canyon Boulevard, Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue, Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road.
This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of September 2008. The paving project resurfaces approximately four miles of Broadway Street (State Highway 93) between Eldorado Springs Drive (SH 170) and Regent Drive. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2008.
Delays are expected throughout the week and alternate routes are advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to stay alert, obey all traffic signs and flaggers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
