NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
PAVING PROJECT SET TO BEGIN ON INDIANA AVENUE

JEFFERSON COUNTY – On Monday, June 9th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a resurfacing project on Indiana Avenue (State Highway 72) between 64th Avenue and 86th Parkway. The project will rotomill and pave approximately 2.5 miles of Indiana Avenue in asphalt and rehabilitate the bridge deck for the structure over the Farmers Highline Canal ,which is located between 77th Drive and 78th Avenue.

Throughout the project, motorists can expect single lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Minor delays are expected and alternate route are advised.

CDOT would like to remind motorists to “Slow for the Cone Zone” and obey all construction signs and flaggers.

Asphalt Paving Co. is the contractor for this $973,000 project, which should be complete by the end of October 2008.
