TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Partial interchange closure begins tomorrow
LONE TREE – Beginning Tuesday, July 8, the underpass at the Schweiger Interchange (Interstate 25 - Exit 191) will be closed to traffic to allow a new frontage road to be built as part of the Ridgegate Parkway Interchange project.
Traffic movements will be impacted as follows:
OPEN – Ramp from southbound I-25 to North Surry Drive
OPEN – Ramp from North Surry Drive to southbound I-25
CLOSED – Ramp from North Surry Drive to northbound I-25 (Detour to northbound I-25 – Use Castle Pines Parkway #188 or Surry Ridge #189)
CLOSED – Ramp from northbound I-25 to North Surry Drive (Detour to North Surry Drive – Use Surry Ridge OR Lincoln Avenue #193, return to southbound I-25, using Exit 191)
Emergency vehicles also will be prohibited from using the Schweiger underpass during the closure.
The underpass is scheduled to reopen in late September or early October 2008.
