WEEKLY LANE CLOSURE REPORT FOR PAVING AND SIGNAL REPLACEMENT PROJECTS
BOULDER COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues a signal upgrade project and a paving project within the City of Boulder. For the week of Sunday, June 22nd through Friday, June 27th, the following lane closures will take place:
Signal Upgrade Project:
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Northbound and Southbound Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue: The shoulder of northbound southbound Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
Northbound and southbound Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway will be closed on Friday.
Paving Project:
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street between Greenbriar Boulevard and Hanover Avenue: There will be various single lane closure on northbound and southbound Broadway from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Tuesday for rotomilling.
Southbound Broadway Street at South Boulder Creek: The right lane of southbound Broadway will be closed 24 hours a day until noon on Monday for guardrail work.
Northbound Broadway Street between Ludlow Street and Darley Avenue: The right lane of northbound Broadway will be closed from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday for guardrail work.
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street between Hanover Avenue and just south of Table Mesa Drive: The right lane of northbound Broadway will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday for guardrail work. Two lanes of northbound and southbound Broadway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday for rotomilling.
The signal project upgrades signals in six locations: Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue, Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue, Broadway Street at Baseline Road, 28th Street at Canyon Boulevard, Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue, Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of September 2008.
The paving project resurfaces approximately four miles of Broadway Street (State Highway 93) between Eldorado Springs Drive (SH 170) and Regent Drive. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2008.
Delays are expected throughout the week and alternate routes are advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to stay alert, obey all traffic signs and flaggers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
