TRAFFIC ADVISORY
WEEKLY LANE CLOSURE REPORT FOR PAVING AND SIGNAL REPLACEMENT PROJECTS

BOULDER COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues a signal upgrade project and a paving project within the City of Boulder. For the week of Sunday, July 13th through Saturday, July 19th, the following lane closures will take place:

Signal Upgrade Project:

• ·Northbound and Southbound 28th Street (US 36) at Canyon Boulevard: The right lane of northbound and southbound 28th Street will be closed Sunday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Southbound Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road: The right lane of southbound Foothills Parkway will be closed Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Southbound Broadway Street at Baseline Road: The right lane of southbound Broadway Street will be closed Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Paving Project:

• Sunday, July 13th
  • Northbound Broadway Street between Table Mesa Drive and Regent Drive: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.
• Monday, July 14th
• Southbound Broadway Street between Dartmouth Avenue and Greenbriar Boulevard: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.
• Tuesday, July 15th
• Southbound Broadway Street between Dartmouth Avenue and Greenbriar Boulevard: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.
• Northbound Broadway Street between Baseline Road and 27th Way: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for rotomilling.
• Wednesday, July 16th
  • Southbound Broadway Street between 27th Way and Rayleigh: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for rotomilling.
  • Southbound Broadway Street between Dartmouth Avenue and Greenbriar Boulevard: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.
• Thursday, July 17th
  • Southbound Broadway Street between Regent Drive and Dartmouth Avenue: There will be various single and double lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.

The signal project upgrades signals in six locations: Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue, Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue, Broadway Street at Baseline Road, 28th Street at Canyon Boulevard, Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue, Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of September 2008.

The paving project resurfaces approximately four miles of Broadway Street (State Highway 93) between Eldorado Springs Drive (SH 170) and Regent Drive. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2008.

Delays are expected throughout the week and alternate routes are advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to stay alert, obey all traffic signs and flaggers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
