WEEKLY LANE CLOSURE REPORT FOR PAVING AND SIGNAL REPLACEMENT PROJECTS
BOULDER COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues a signal upgrade project and a paving project within the City of Boulder. For the week of Sunday, July 20th through Saturday, July 26th, the following lane closures will take place:
Signal Upgrade Project:
Northbound and Southbound Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Broadway Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Northbound and Southbound Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road: The right lane of northbound and southbound Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30p.m. on Tuesday.
Northbound and Southbound Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue: The right lane of northbound and southbound Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Northbound and Southbound 28th Street (US 36) at Canyon Boulevard: The right lane of northbound and southbound 28th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Paving Project:
Southbound Broadway from Regent Drive to Table Mesa Drive: The right lane of southbound Broadway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday for paving.
Southbound Broadway from Dartmouth Avenue to Greenbriar: The right and center lane of southbound Broadway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday and the left lane will be closed on Tuesday for paving.
The signal project upgrades signals in six locations: Broadway Street at Dartmouth Avenue, Broadway Street at Hanover Avenue, Broadway Street at Baseline Road, 28th Street at Canyon Boulevard, Foothills Parkway at Colorado Avenue, Foothills Parkway at Baseline Road. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of September 2008.
The paving project resurfaces approximately four miles of Broadway Street (State Highway 93) between Eldorado Springs Drive (SH 170) and Regent Drive. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2008.
Delays are expected throughout the week and alternate routes are advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to stay alert, obey all traffic signs and flaggers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
