CDOT MAINTENANCE TO RESURFACE SH 131 THROUGH OAK CREEK
ROUTT COUNTY – Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews will resurface SH 131 through Oak Creek in early July. From Tuesday, July 1, through Thursday, July 3, the pavement through town (mile marker 51.5 to 52.1) will be milled. The surface will be rough over the weekend. Following the holiday, crews will then pave the section from Monday, July 7, through Thursday, July 10.
During the work dates, traffic will be detoured around main street onto Routt County Road 50 Z. The detour will be in place from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM. There will be access to all businesses on Main Street via side streets, but there will be no parking on Main street during project work hours.
CDOT would like to thank motorists and the community of Oak Creek for their patience and safe driving during this brief project. For information on other CDOT projects, the public may log onto www.cotrip.org or call 511.
