4th STREET BRIDGE ADVISORY
TRAIL CLOSURE CONTINUES THROUGH WEEKEND
PUEBLO – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) closure of the Arkansas River Trail, under the 4th Street Bridge (State Highway 96), will now remain in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When the trail was closed on Monday, June 23, for work on the westbound bridge span, initial plans were to allow it to reopen to traffic on weekends. However, CDOT has determined that safety considerations will not allow it to reopen until the bridge work is completed, currently scheduled for late July.
