TRAFFIC ADVISORY
WALSENBURG – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be machine patching Walsen Avenue (Interstate 25 Business Route) through the north side of Walsenburg next week.
Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., single lane closures will be in place on northbound or southbound Walsen Avenue between Grand Street and Interstate 25, north of Walsenburg. Delays should be expected as flaggers alternate traffic through the work zone.
CDOT is advising southbound I-25 drivers to avoid using the north Walsenburg exit (# 52) and instead, use the Walsenburg/State Highway 10 exit (# 50) for access into Walsenburg and to westbound U.S. 160.
Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
