TRAFFIC ADVISORY
MAINTENANCE WORK TO CAUSE DELAYS ON
STATE HIGHWAY 71 THIS WEEK
WELD COUNTY – On Tuesday, July 29th and Wednesday, July 30th, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will conduct a small overlay project on State Highway (SH) 71 between mileposts 210.25 and 211.60, which is north of Stoneham and the junction of SH 14.
Throughout the week, motorists can expect single-lane alternating traffic from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flaggers and a pilot car will be used to direct motorists through the work zone.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all construction signs and flaggers and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
The paving project will be completed by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30th, weather permitting.
