PAVING PROJECT TO CAUSE DELAYS ON STATE HIGHWAY 119
NEAR NIWOT NEXT WEEK
BOULDER COUNTY – Starting on Monday, August 18th and continuing through Wednesday, August 20th, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will conduct a paving project on State Highway (SH) 119 near the intersection of SH 52, which is near Niwot.
During the project, motorists can expect various single lane closures on northbound SH 119 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The speed limit will be reduced from 60 MPH to 50 MPH during work hours. Delays are expected and alternate routes are advised.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all construction signs and flaggers and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
The paving project should be completed by 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20th, weather permitting.
