TRAFFIC ADVISORY
PAVING ON SH 94 TO CAUSE DELAYS
EL PASO COUNTY – On Monday and Tuesday, July 28th and 29th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of eastbound and westbound SH 94 between east US 24 and Marksheffel Road in Colorado Springs for paving operations.
Closures will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day. Monday crews will remove the asphalt and Tuesday paving will take place. US 24 traffic can take N. Marksheffel Rd. south to SH 94 and traffic using SH 94 can take N. Marksheffel Rd. to link to US 24. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to “Slow for the Cone Zone” and obey all construction signs and flaggers.
All lanes of SH 94 will reopen by 6 p.m. each evening. All work is weather permitting.
