Several preliminary alternatives were developed to address the needs of the corridor as described in the project overview . These alternatives were evaluated in the Environmental Assessment, which can be found here.

All but one of the alternatives were eliminated from further analysis during the different screening levels of the evaluation process. The cross-sections of all of the alternatives developed and a flowchart that shows the screening levels can be found below. The No Action Alternative and Alternative 3 Curved were evaluated in the Environmental Assessment. The No Action Alternative reflects making no changes to the existing conditions on Federal Boulevard , except for routine maintenance of the roadway. The No Action Alternative is used as a baseline for comparison to Alternative 3 Curved (Build Alternative) in the Environmental Assessment.
