1. What distance from a signaled intersection will you allow an ingress/egress onto private property? (Distance for a curb cut).
Answer: As things stand today, no access will be allowed from US 24 directly to a private property. As for the affected cross streets within the study area, traffic volumes, intersection queuing distances, travel speeds and local access requirements will be considered. As we move forward and recommend a preferred alternative, design features, like private driveway access, will be studied at a greater level of detail.
