Newsletter CONSTRUCTION FOR DECEMBER 2006 Progress In November: A. Blasting and excavation for roadway widening continued.B. Completed construction of Blackfoot Road. C. Completed subgrade prep for paving new northbound lanes from RTD to south of the wildlife structure. D. Completed placement of the deck for the new br idge at Richmond Hill . For the month of December construction will consist of: A. Continue blasting and earthwork for roadway widening.B. Winter shut down for construction of the Richmond Hill Bridge. C. Continue placing fill D. Installation of storm pipe. E. Lane adjustment on the south end of the project for final winter configuration. After the lane adjustment mentioned above (item E), due to the colder weather months being upon us, construction will virtually stop until spring of 2006. Anticipated project completion is 12/31/07 The working hours in which traffic is affected are: Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and on Friday 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Maximum of 20 minute delays for blasting operations. Maximum of 10 minute delays for all other operations. The Public Information Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays. The Public Information Officer for this project is Mark Straub.
