Public Scoping Meeting
August 21, 2007

The public scoping meeting was held on August 21, 2007 at the Clements Community Center in Lakewood , to introduce the study and gather input from the public to help define the scope of the study. The meeting took place in an open house format, encouraging attendees to talk with project staff about different components of the study. CDOT provided information on existing conditions in the study area, spoke with attendees about their concerns and ideas, and gave two presentations describing the study process and issues identified to date.

An information packet was distributed to attendees, containing information about the study process and schedule, noise analysis procedures, environmental resources, frequently asked questions, and a comment form. The information packet is available for download on the Study Documents page of this site.

Project team members were available at information stations to provide information and take comments and questions on the study process, project issues, traffic, noise, and environmental resources.
